The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has blocked the website of the Ukrainian holding TECHIIA

The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has blocked the website of the Ukrainian holding TECHIIA, which operates in the IT, cybersports, UAVs and construction technologies industries. The general public became aware of the holding when its co-founder Oleg Krot gave more than $60 million to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The relevant decision came into force on November 7. The reason for the blockage was the assistance to the AFU. In particular, it is known that the Ukrainian Forbes included the co-founders of TECHIIA Oleg Krot and Yuriy Lazebnikov in the list of entrepreneurs who help the AFU the most. The official website of the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media states that techiia.com is blocked in accordance with the decision of the RF Prosecutor General’s Office 27-31-2022/Id15912-22 dated November 7, 2022. TECHIIA Holding has not yet commented on Roskomnadzor’s decision.

We remind you that Oleg Krot gave interviews to several Ukrainian media and bloggers, in which he stated that he purchased more than 60 million dollars worth of humanitarian aid for the AFU. There is a report about the use of one third of these funds on the website of the public organization TECHIIA holding. Regarding the use of the rest of the declared funds, TECHIIA Holding and Oleg Krot do not report, citing military secrecy and personal security.

Earlier, in an interview with Forbes, the head of the “Servant of the People” faction in the Verkhovna Rada David Arahamia confirmed that Oleg Krot had spent several tens of millions of dollars to help the army.

Генпрокуратура РФ заблокировала сайт украинского холдинга TECHIIA, работающего в индустриях IТ, киберспорта, БПЛА и строительных технологий. Широкой общественности стало известно о холдинге, когда его соучредитель Олег Крот отдал на ВСУ более $60 млн.

Соответствующее решение вступило в силу 7 ноября. Причиной блокировки стала помощь ВСУ. В частности, известно, что украинский Forbes включил соучредителей TECHIIA Олега Крота и Юрия Лазебникова в список предпринимателей, наиболее помогающих ВСУ. На официальном сайте федеральной службы по надзору в сфере связи, информационных технологий и массовых коммуникаций РФ указано, что сайт techiia.com заблокирован в соответствии с решением генпрокуратуры РФ 27-31-2022/Ид15912-22 от 7 ноября 2022 года. В холдинге TECHIIA решение Роскомнадзора пока никак не прокомментировали.

Напомним, Олег Крот давал интервью нескольким украинским СМИ и блогерам, в которых заявил, что приобрел для ВСУ гуманитарную помощь более чем на 60 млн долларов США. Об использовании трети этих средств есть отчет на сайте общественной организации холдинга TECHIIA. Относительно использования остальных заявленных средств холдинг TECHIIA и Олег Крот не отчитываются, ссылаясь на военную тайну и личную безопасность.

Добавим, ранее в интервью Forbes глава фракции «Слуга Народа» в Верховной Раде Давид Арахамия подтвердил, что Олег Крот потратил на помощь армии несколько десятков миллионов долларов.
